Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé with Case

Created in 1972, it is a tribute to Madame Clicquot, also known as "La Grande Dame de la Champagne". It is an exclusive assemblage of eight of our historic Grands Crus, which achieves great elegance and delicacy.

It will be delicious with starters or appetizers prepared with smoked products, cured products, white meat or autumn mushrooms. It will be perfect as an aperitif.

Serving temperature: 50 to 54 °F. Serving La Grande Dame Rosé 2006 in prestigious Veuve Clicquot glasses will only enhance the tasting experience.

Intense color with copper reflections. Very small and bright bubbles.

The initial nose reveals a saline, mineral background, then notes of red fruits appear (cherry, wild strawberry, currant) and some more toasted notes of hazelnut, cocoa and sweet spices. When shaken, these empyrheumatic characteristics are accentuated, while the aromatic complexity of the great Pinot Noir is always present.

On the palate, it is spongy and full of substance. The texture is crunchy and silky. The tannins are still present, calling for a textured kitchen to bring out the best in the wine. The finish is long and covers the palate. The tannins are already very well integrated and are expected to become even more so in the coming years.
