In 1805, Madame Clicquot, a 27-year-old widow, took over the reins of the Maison founded in Reims in 1772 and became one of the first business women in history. Bold and visionary, she made her champagne known throughout the world Know-how and craftsmanship: For more than 200 years, the Maison has remained true to its motto: "Only one quality, the best"
Consistency in style: complex and powerful with a predominance of Pinot Noir.
TASTING NOTE
SIGHT
Yellow Label has an attractive appearance: golden yellow, with a necklace of fine bubbles.
NOSE
The nose is initially reminiscent of white fruits and raisins; next comes the vanilla and then the brioche. We can easily perceive the delicate balance between the fruity aromas from the grape varieties and the toasted aromas that characterize bottle aging.
PALATE
The first sip offers all the freshness and strength so typical of Yellow Label, followed by a symphony of fruit flavors. It proves to be a deserved member of the powerful Brut family, due to its good structure, admirably vinous. The lingering aromas echo over and over again in every note of fruit or spice.
